Trimipramine is an antidepressant medication. It is used to help patients feel mental well-being. It changes brain chemistry in order to prevent feelings of depression, anger, hopelessness, worthlessness or guilt. It is taken on a daily basis in order to continue to promote mental health.
Side Effects/Warnings
This medication causes physical dependence if taken for a long period of time. Never stop taking it abruptly; doing so can throw the body into shock and cause seizures, heart problems, high blood pressure and suicidal feelings.
