Trandolapril
Tradnolapril is an ACE inhibitor drug that is often prescribed for patients who suffer from high blood pressure. This medication works by blocking the production of an enzyme that causes blood vessels to become more narrow. This results in wider blood vessels and lower blood pressure.
Side Effects/Warnings
This medication is toxic to fetuses. Taking it while you are pregnant can cause fetus death as well as serious birth defects if the fetus survives. If you become pregnant while on this medication, contact your doctor immediately.
There’s a danger of blood pressure dropping too low while on this medication. If you feel extremely dizzy or drowsy, you should get emergency medical help.
