Quinupristin/Dalfopristin
Quinupristin and Dalfopristin are antibiotics that are used to treat serious infections of the blood and skin. The medication is provided intravenously in the hospital; the medication is placed into an IV for 60 minutes at a time two or three times a day.

used to treat serious or life-threatening bacterial infections. It should not be used to treat other types of infections. Doctors don’t yet know what negative effects it might have on patients’ health long-term, so it should only be used when there are no alternative medications that might work just as well.
This medication may cause a rash, upset stomach, nausea or vomiting. Talk to your doctor if you experience any of these side effects.
