Side Effects/Warnings
Women who suffer from heart disease and those who smoke should be careful when taking this medication, as it causes heart attacks and strokes in some women. Smoking while on the medication greatly increases the chances that the woman will have a heart attack or stroke.
This medication does not protect women against HIV or other sexually transmitted diseases.
