Etodolac

Patients who have heart disease should not use this medication, especially if they have had bypass surgery. This medication can cause heart attacks and strokes. The longer it is used for, the greater the risk of these diseases.

This medication can also cause serious gastrointestinal problems such as bleeding, ulcers and perforation. These problems can occur suddenly and can be fatal. Patients should see their doctors if they experience severe stomach pain or blood in their stools.
