Arformoterol

Arformoterol is a drug used to help people who have trouble breathing because of respiratory diseases such as emphysema or COPD. This drug relaxes the muscles in the lungs when it is inhaled so that airways open more widely, making it easier to breathe.

Warnings/Side Effects

Some people have more difficulty breathing after taking this drug instead of less. It can cause people to have symptoms similar to those of an asthma attack such as:

• Difficulty breathing or catching breath
• Tightness in the chest or lungs
• Feeling short of breath after mild exertion

Some people also experience a dry mouth or changes in urination along with a faster heartbeat and feeling lightheaded. These serious side effects require immediate medical attention.
